At VE/AME and GDDIS, we are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2016/679, dated April 27, 2016. Information we collect

In general, you can browse many parts of this website without providing any personal information. Use of subcontractors (processors and sub-processors)

If the subcontractor processes personal data outside the EU/EEA territory, such processing must comply with the EU Privacy Shield Framework, EU Model Contractual Clauses for transfers to third countries, or any other specifically stated legal basis for transferring personal data to a third country.

Our legal basis for collecting personal data

Collection of personal data based on consent:

  • The collection of personal data based on the individual’s consent will be done using “Consent Forms” that store documentation regarding the consent given by the individual. Individual consents will always be stored and documented in our systems.

Collection of personal information under contracts:

  • We use personal information to fulfill our obligations regarding contracts and agreements with customers, partners, and suppliers.

Collection of personal data based on legitimate interest:

  • We may use personal data if it is deemed to be of legitimate interest and if the privacy interests of the data subjects do not outweigh this interest. In order to determine the legal basis for collecting data, an assessment is normally made which establishes a mutual interest between the parties and the individual. This legal basis relates primarily to our sales and marketing purposes. We will always inform individuals about their privacy rights and the purpose of collecting personal data.

Your rights to your personal data

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • The right to request a copy of your personal data that the parties hold about you.
  • The right to request that the parties correct your personal data if it is inaccurate or out of date.

The use of cookies

We use cookies and web beacons (“Website Navigation Information”) to collect information as you navigate the company’s websites.
